Practice... Practice... Practice
As many of you know my hubby gave me a great camera for my b-day. So the other day we went out so I could practice and here are my results. It is really hard to get my kids to look at the camera. I took these pictures up at the cove, the leaves haven't really turned yet so in a couple of weeks it will have amazing color. If you would like me to practice on your family I would be more than happy too. Since I am just practicing I won't charge you, cause I am not guaranteeing anything. You can call me and we can set something up.

Jodi, those are beautiful. i wish i had any kind of picture taking talent...i take lots of pictures, just not that good of ones! Beautiful! Maybe you could give me some pointers?

Did you use the 50mm f/1.8 for these?
Do you use photoshop or anything? I like to use picnik.com and usually bump up the contrast a little bit.
I like your idea of practicing on people's kids for free...I want someone to let me take their engagement photos for free but I haven't asked around yet :)
The first pic was taken with the 50mm 1.8/f. The rest were used with my 70-300mm 5.6/f. I used the the photoshop thing with my windows program. The pic of Dylan I feel are a little to dark still.
