Carving Pumpkins

Before Halloween we went to a pumpkin patch nearby our house and let Hailey pick out her pumpkin. I think that she was in total pumpkin heaven, I don't think she could believe all the pumpkins. We went home and carved them and she really enjoyed pulling out the "guts" as Darren called them. She would say, "guts, guts, guts". When we took them outside and put a candle in them she thought that that was the neatest thing ever. The day after Halloween Darren threw out the pumpkins without announcing it to her and she almost cried her eyes out when she saw that they were gone.

TRICK OR TREAT

This Halloween was so much fun. Hailey dressed up like a pink poodle (tail and floppy ears included) and Dylan dressed up like a turtle with a cute shell on his back. Dylan had no idea what was going on but really enjoyed the sucker Grandpa gave him. Hailey couldn't get enough, after each house she would say more, more. She was really sad when it was time to come in.
